2 Octaves (plus F4 bell), Level 2
Arranged by Andrew Duncan
This arrangement for 2 octaves of bells (plus an F4 – required!) is lots of fun and sure to get your beginning bell group up and running!
Ali O”Connell – March 23, 2013:
Just wanted to let you know that we performed “Little Light” at the Australasian Handbell Festival on July 7. Obviously with the timeframe, we had barely rehearsed it, but my ringers love the sample page so much that they put all their efforts into learning the final page when you emailed it. It was an extra special performance, as it was the first time we had ever performed as a group, and it was the first time ever for four of our ringers who only started ringing 6 months ago.
While we didn’t perform it perfectly, for the moment, it didn’t matter. A beat after we rang the final chord, the audience burst into applause. With relief we damped our bells, bowed and sat down. Immediately, the MC asked us to stand again, and have a second round of applause for our debut performance. We were later complimented on our rhythm, technique and requests for the details of our awesome piece! I hope you will be receiving requests shortly from other Australian handbell groups.
Thanks again – just wanted to let you know that you were a part of an extra special moment for our brand new handbell ensemble!

We have played this a few times over the past three years. It gets better every time! I love this arrangement – it is fun to play and sounds great.
Not that bad
