Andrew Duncan is the interim Worship Leader and the Director of Choral Ministries at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. His responsibilities there include leading congregational worship, directing the worship band and adult choir, assisting with the youth choir program; writing and arranging for the worship band and orchestra; and worship planning with the music staff, pastors, and volunteers. Andrew also currently serves as the interim Assistant Director of the Knoxville Choral Society and as Director of the Knoxville Chamber Chorale.
Andrew received his Masters degrees in Choral Conducting and Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He is an active arranger and composer and has orchestrated many anthems and carols for orchestra, choir, and handbells, and his music is published by AGEHR/Lorenz, Alfred, CadenzaOne, Discover Worship, GIA Music, and Ring-Press.
He has served as clinician for the Epiphany Ring, TVA Handbell Festival, plays violin with Fountain Strings, and is (much to his wife’s chagrin) an aspiring accordionist.
Andrew is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association and ChorusAmerica. He lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife Rachel and their three children, Natalie, Matthew, and Kate.
